About the Televes 537302 MiniKom amplifier
A launch amplifier sits at the start of a distribution network and raises the signal high enough to survive all the splitters and taps downstream. The 537302 gives the installer real control: a high/low gain switch for a wide dynamic range, a 0-20 dB output attenuator to set the exact launch level, and separate PIN-diode attenuators for the low and high bands so tilt can be corrected. It powers itself from the mains and can pass DC to feed a masthead amplifier through the input.
